However, it engages more directly with target audiences, who may be internal (employees, direct partners, boards of directors) or external (collaborators, potential partners, users). The goal of knowledge dissemination may be to develop a shared perspective built on a common knowledge base. Knowledge may also be shared to inform future collaborations and actions.
